We had the privilege of collaborating with Kempinski Hotels on the development of House of Wine, a global initiative designed to place wine at the heart of the guest experience. More than a beverage program, the ambition was to create a hospitality platform capable of connecting culture, craftsmanship, education, and celebration through the lens of wine.
Our mission was to review and expand the existing vision, transforming it into a flexible framework that could be implemented across the group's diverse portfolio. From city hotels and resorts to flagship gastronomic destinations, the challenge was to define a common language while leaving room for each property to express its own local identity.
The work explored every layer of the guest journey. We developed service rituals, wine education pathways, cultural activations, storytelling tools, guest experiences, and operational systems that allow wine to appear naturally throughout the property. From a simple glass enjoyed at the bar to private tastings, creative collaborations, cellar experiences, and signature ceremonies, every touchpoint was considered.
Alongside the global strategy, we translated the vision into a pilot application for Kempinski Munich, identifying opportunities within existing spaces and designing a roadmap for future activations.
The result is a scalable platform that allows Kempinski to celebrate its European heritage while remaining deeply connected to local culture. House of Wine creates a framework where education feels approachable, rituals feel meaningful, and wine becomes an experience guests remember long after the bottle is finished.

INSPIRATION
House of Wine was inspired by the belief that wine is one of the most powerful expressions of place, culture, and human connection.
Rather than approaching wine through technical expertise alone, the program explores how it intersects with art, music, gastronomy, craftsmanship, travel, and conversation. The intention was to make wine more accessible, more emotional, and more relevant to contemporary luxury travellers.
The framework combines structured education with memorable experiences. Signature rituals, cultural pairings, curated events, guest learning journeys, and destination specific activations all contribute to a richer understanding of wine and the stories behind it.
At its core, House of Wine transforms wine from a menu category into a living part of the hospitality experience, creating opportunities for guests to discover a destination, meet local talent, celebrate special moments, and connect with others around a shared table.
