We created The Swallow Collection — a boutique hotel project in Seville inspired by the city’s mysticism, its Mudejar architecture, and the timeless charm of its plazas and fountains.

Our work began with a market study of Seville’s hospitality and F&B scene, complemented by an F&B safari across the city to identify opportunities and gaps. From this foundation, we defined the positioning, concept narrative, and F&B direction — ensuring that the property would not only blend with Seville’s cultural fabric but also stand out as a distinctive destination.

We led the naming exercise and brand creation, developing the emblem, typography, and overall storytelling. Parallel to this, we crafted the operational flow and guest journey, making sure the experience was as functional as it was poetic. From façade and interior inspirations to uniform design, OS&E selection, and printed collaterals, every detail was conceived as part of a coherent and cinematic world.

The guiding idea was to build a brand that feels native to Seville yet timeless enough to travel, one that can adapt to other cities while carrying the same Andalusian essence. The swallow bird — a symbol of return, memory, and lightness — became the emblem and spirit of the collection.

BRANDING INSPIRATION

The Swallow Collection takes inspiration from the everyday poetry of Seville: birds circling over fountains, the scent of orange blossoms in patios, the play of light and shadow on stucco walls.

The visual world is rooted in Andalusian craftsmanship — wrought iron, terracotta, mosaics, and arches — paired with a contemporary elegance. Typography is slender yet characterful, echoing engraved signage. Colors are warm and grounded: terracotta, jasmine white, deep olive green, and brass gold, creating a palette both historic and modern.

The brand reveals itself not through a logo alone, but through small tactile encounters: brass keychains, a hand-stitched bathrobe emblem, signage painted on stucco, a handwritten postcard in the room. Each gesture ties back to the narrative of Seville, making the brand both functional and poetic.
