We conceived Stella Sky Lounge as the rooftop signature of the St. Regis Riyadh — a place where astronomy, gastronomy, and contemporary luxury converge above the city skyline.
From the start, the narrative was anchored in Saudi Arabia’s astronomy heritage and the eternal symbolism of the sun, moon, and stars. These celestial references guided every decision: from naming and brand identity to the smallest operational detail. The result is a lounge that feels suspended between desert and cosmos.
By day, Stella Sky is a private oasis: a poolside retreat reserved for in-house guests, defined by calm, horizon lines, and golden desert light. By night, it transforms into Riyadh’s most elevated social destination — a stage for crafted cocktails, gastronomic storytelling, curated shisha rituals, and live performances under the stars.
Our work extended across every dimension of the experience. We developed the brand ecosystem with its logotype, monogram, color palette, and constellation-inspired motifs, ensuring cohesion across print and digital applications. Culinary storytelling was embedded into the F&B program, creating recipes and rituals that bridge Middle Eastern tradition with contemporary mixology. Uniforms, OS&E, packaging, and merchandising were designed to serve as tactile reinforcements of the brand’s identity, while a dedicated social media framework translated Stella Sky’s celestial DNA into the digital sphere with the same resonance it carries in the physical space.









BRANDING INSPIRATION
The guiding idea was to transform the poetry of stargazing into hospitality. Golden hues of desert sand transition into deep blues of the cosmos, brought to life through lighting, textures, and materials that glow like constellations. Elevated above the city, the rooftop emphasizes this connection to the sky, becoming a stage for both everyday rituals and extraordinary experiences.
Branding inspiration emerges from the dialogue between cosmos and desert horizon. The palette blends warm copper accents with indigo night tones, echoing Riyadh’s golden sunsets. The brand reveals itself not only in its logo but also in tactile encounters: indigo leather menus embossed in copper, constellation-patterned uniforms, copper-accented shisha jars, and illuminated signage that glows with celestial depth. Each element reinforces Stella Sky as more than a rooftop bar — it is a celestial observatory for contemporary life, where the rhythm of day and night becomes the essence of the brand.
