We created Almina as a contemporary Levantine–Mediterranean restaurant in Cascais — a project that blends coastal heritage with modern design. From the outset, our mission was to position Almina within the vibrant dining landscape of Cascais while ensuring it stood apart through its brand clarity, storytelling, and culinary proposition.

Our first step was a comprehensive branding market survey: mapping the area’s restaurants, analyzing their visual identities, and benchmarking their logos, colors, and assets into a comparative diagram. This allowed us to identify clear trends and define a strategic positioning for Almina’s brand identity.

We then explored multiple naming routes, ultimately shaping the full visual brand system — from logotype and fonts to color palettes, signage, and collaterals. The work extended beyond visuals into a culinary audit, where we refined the cocktail and brunch menus, and provided recommendations for starters and mains, ensuring that the F&B narrative aligned with the brand’s personality.

On the design side, we developed uniforms, signage, and menus, all infused with a tactile, authentic feel.
