ARÇI & CALÇ were born from a shared vision between winemaker Tara Banach Esteve and our own founder Logan Faure: to create two wines deeply connected to their land while presenting them through a contemporary lens. Rooted in family vineyards in Les Pobles, in the Baix Penedès region of Catalunya, the project celebrates a territory cultivated across generations and transformed through organic farming, manual harvests and small-batch production.

Our mission was to develop the strategic foundations of the brand, from naming and storytelling to visual identity, packaging, commercial positioning and cellar design. The challenge was not simply to launch two wines, but to build a coherent universe capable of expressing the personality of the vineyard, the character of each grape variety and the philosophy behind the project.

The namesARÇIandCALÇoriginate from the two dominant soil compositions found across the estate: arcilla(clay) andcaliza(limestone). More than names, they became the foundation of the entire project. ARÇI draws its identity from the warm terracotta hues, depth and richness associated with clay soils, while CALÇ reflects the brightness, minerality and elegance of limestone terrain. This duality not only inspired the character of the wines themselves, but also informed the visual identity, packaging design and interior design of the cellar, creating a coherent universe rooted in the land from which the wines are born.

INSPIRATION

The identity of ARÇI & CALÇ draws directly from the landscape of Baix Penedès and the materials that define it.

Narrative: One vineyard, two expressions. ARÇI and CALÇ represent distinct interpretations of the same territory, shaped by different grape varieties, soils, textures and moments of consumption.

Visual Language:Inspired by Mediterranean soils, vine trunks, clay, limestone, vineyard structures and the natural textures found throughout the estate. The visual system celebrates materiality, imperfection and authenticity, reflecting the philosophy of minimal intervention practiced in both vineyard and cellar.

Experience:Every touchpoint, from the bottle and packaging to the cellar environment and sales materials, was conceived as an extension of the land itself, creating a brand that feels honest, tactile and deeply rooted in its place of
